Great older-style pub. We came in on a weekday for drinks and lunch. A good bunch of locals dining in bar area and in bistro side. Sat at the bar, for a drink and decided to get some lunch - all the food coming out looked and smelled yum. NSW beers on tap, not ideal, but we leaned into it. We came on a Wednesday and there was a schnitzel special ~$19, and they all looked good, but we ordered other things. Most of the other people ordered the schnitty by the looks of it… Great calamari (entrée) and good size for me, nicely cooked, tender and some crunch from the crispy shallots. Good aioli sauce underneath and snow pea tendrils 👌🏻 My partner had a beef burger, with chips and gravy. He was happy with it: the burger patty was juicy and the chippies were crunchy and well seasoned. Great service, efficient and the lady behind the bar knew her locals (and our drinks) without having to verbally order the second round, it just happened with a smile and a nod. Definitely recommend!

Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food was good, very good. Dogs allowed in the back beer garden, which was nice.

Wonderful service and atmosphere with cheerful locals. The food however, for the price (not cheap) was very disappointing "300" gram rump steak was lucky to be 150g and was seriously overcooked to well done when we ordered medium rare. Lamb cutlets were nice but once again very overcooked. An average pub meal at best and for the price, expected a lot better. These are simple mistakes that can easily be overcome for a superb experience.

Yum, yum and double Yum. Hubby and I really enjoyed our freshly cooked meals. The place was buzzing with customers and takeaway menu but meals didn't take long to come to the table and they were fresh, hot and to die for. Thank you Globe for a great 2 course meal. We will definitely recommend you to our travelling friends. For entree I had oysters Kilpatrick and hubby had prawn cutlets. Cheaper than any meal we have had on NSW for a long time. My prawn risotto was perfection and my hubby's steak was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Being a butcher he knows a good steak and The Globe knows how to cook a bloody good steak.

Great value pub meal. We ordered chicken schnitzels, which came with sauces and veg/salad included, plus a burger. All meals were cooked well, very tasty and good value. Staff were friendly and attentive. All round, great pub. We were travelling through town but hope to visit again.

Got a take away roast lamb. Staff were awesome. Place had a lot of character. But the food. Make somewhere you get yorkshires like this. My mother on her best day couldn’t bless her.

We visited the globe on Saturday, The town was very quiet, but we had a recommendation from The local BIG4 We were pleasantly surprised by the warm ambience. Really nice cane lounges that let you sink in. I ordered the chicken Kyiv and my husband ordered the Parma and our little one had the children’s spaghetti. All were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I think it's a great pub, nice setting, reasonable amount of beer on tap, food and service is good and prices very reasonable. I gave it 5 stars because it suited my needs. I'd go back.

I had the stake sandwich and it was the most amazing steak sandwich I have ever had! The steak was perfectly cooked and tender, the flavour of the rest of the ingredients also perfect!! I would go back repeatedly just for that steak sandwich 😁
